Governance
Canadian leadership, close to operations, backed by Groupe GSF.
GSF Canada is led from Quebec. Antoine Lorent serves as President and François Brassard as General Manager, running the Canadian business day to day from our establishments in Laval and Québec City.
Around the general management, five directors cover business development, cleaning and technical operations, associated services, human resources and finance. Keeping that team small is deliberate: fewer layers sit between a question asked on a site and the person who can answer it.
In practice, a client file involves both the person who framed it and the people who deliver it. Decisions about scope, staffing and investment are made in Canada, based on Canadian agreements and the Quebec market.
GSF Canada remains a subsidiary of Groupe GSF. The Group has its own governance bodies; they belong to the Group and are not duplicated here. This page describes Canadian leadership, while our Groupe GSF page sets out what operates at the international level.

How we are organized
General management works with five directors whose responsibilities are clearly separated. Each one owns a domain end to end: framing, delivery, follow-up and improvement. Files that cross domains — a multiservices site, a seasonal start-up, a volume hiring push — are handled together rather than passed down a chain.
- Business development — understanding the need, framing scope, building proposals.
- Cleaning and technical services — delivery and supervision of site operations.
- Associated services — snow removal, landscaping and related grounds work.
- Human resources — recruiting, onboarding, training and labour relations.
- Finance — financial management, invoicing and internal control.
Decisions made close to the field
Our Laval and Québec City establishments are not administrative addresses; they are the anchor points for supervision. Local managers know the buildings, the occupancy hours and the seasonal constraints of their territory. When a situation goes beyond the agreed routine, it reaches a named director rather than an anonymous inbox.
What governance changes for a client
A service contract is judged on continuity. A short leadership structure makes it possible to name someone accountable for each part of an agreement, to revise scope without waiting on a distant approval cycle, and to keep one consistent message from the first commercial conversation through to operational follow-up.
Oversight and compliance
Canadian leadership is responsible for meeting applicable Quebec and Canadian obligations, and for GSF Canada’s certified management systems. The scope and validity dates of those certifications are published on Our commitments — without extending them to areas they do not cover.
A Groupe GSF subsidiary
Groupe GSF, founded in 1963, has owned GSF Canada since it opened its first international establishment in 1983. The Group provides a brand framework, a service culture and access to the experience of its entities. Its governance bodies and its recognitions — EcoVadis, for example — belong to the Group and are always identified as “Groupe GSF”.
